BCMC provides classes in a safe environment for kids 8 to 18 so they can learn\, play and perform music in the tri-state area. \nPrior to joining BCMC\, Stacy enjoyed a successful career in radio and television broadcasting serving as an announcer\, program director\, promotions director\, music director and general manager. \nHe has been the emcee of many events\, featuring some of the biggest names in show business\, including Bob Hope\, Reba McEntire\, Garth Brooks and Billy Joel just to name a few. Much of Stacy’s broadcast career was here in our area with stops at radio stations\, WAYZ\, WLTF\, Oldies 106.9 and MAX 92.9. In fact\, Stacy spent his last year on air doing his daily radio show from the broadcast booth at Buddy Lou’s Eats\, Drinks and Antiques. \n

DESCRIPTION:Bruce Katz Band\nBruce Katz is a legendary keyboardist (Hammond B3 and piano) who has released 12 CDs as a leader and has appeared on nearly 80 other CDs with artists like John Hammond\, Delbert McClinton\, Ronnie Earl\, Butch Trucks\, Duke Robillard\, Little Milton\, Joe Louis Walker\, David “Fathead” Newman\, and many more. \nHe has had a strong musical connection with the Allman Brothers Band\, having been a member of: \n\nGregg Allman’s band (2007–2013)\nJaimoe’s Jasssz Band (2010–2015)\nButch Trucks’s Freight Train Band (2015–2017)\nLes Brers\n\nBruce also occasionally toured directly with the Allman Brothers Band. \nHe is an eight-time BMA nominee (2008\, 2009\, 2010\, 2015\, 2019\, 2020\, 2021\, 2025) for the “Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year” award (the equivalent of the “Blues Grammys”).
